With over 20 years of experience in the music industry, DJ Jose‘s passion for music and DJing runs deep. His journey began at the age of 15, working alongside his uncle as an audio engineer for Radio KAZA and El Rancho Grande in Morgan Hill, where he set up sound systems for concerts and promotions. These early experiences ignited his love for Hispanic music genres like Cumbia, Banda, and Ranchera, with artists such as Ramón Ayala, Los Bukis, Banda Machos, Los Tucanes, and Sonora Dinamita becoming personal favorites. At 16, DJ Jose launched his professional career, spinning at weddings, quinceañeras, school rallies, and dances. He honed his turntable skills in Latin house, freestyle, and high-energy genres before expanding into hip-hop as both a club DJ and music producer. Today, DJ Jose is a full-time DJ with regular club residencies, where he blends reggaeton, dance music, cumbias, and timeless classics with modern remixes, creating an experience that resonates across generations. With his vast musical repertoire, genuine passion for mixing, and decades of expertise, DJ Jose is the perfect choice to elevate any event and create unforgettable memories.
